Statement from Yuehua Entertainment
Yuehua Entertainment has issued an official statement in response to the removal of Choi Yena’s music video (MV) entitled ‘Hate Rodrigo’ from distribution platforms. Through this statement, the agency revealed that there are issues related to trademark infringement, portrait rights infringement, and copyright infringement.
“Hello, this is Yuehua Entertainment. We’d like to tell you details about the MV for the title song of Choi Ye Na’s 2nd single album, ‘Hate Rodrigo’. It was learned that this scene in the music video had issues related to trademark infringement, portrait rights infringement, and copyright infringement, so the video was temporarily removed on June 29.” wrote the agency Yuehua Entertainment as reported in Allkpop on Friday, 30 June 2023.
“The agency is currently working on revising the content. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for noticing this problem too late, and taking action without proper explanation, which caused confusion. The agency will re-upload the music video as soon as it is fully revised.” the agency said.
