On this day, July 5 2023, the Overseas Culture and Information Service of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea or KOCIS and IST Entertainment announced that The Boyz had been appointed as Korean Cultural Ambassadors for Overseas 2023.

Meanwhile, the boy band’s appointment ceremony took place in the morning KST. Later, The Boyz’s task as ambassador is to actively promote South Korean culture.

“The Boyz has been appointed as ‘Korean Culture Overseas Ambassadors 2023’ , and after the appointment ceremony this morning, they are the new faces to actively promote Korea,” said IST Entertainment, reported from Naver on July 5, 2023.
