BTS’ V departed from South Korea on June 30, 2023 to attend the CELINE Homme Summer 24 event in Paris, France. This was confirmed when the singer whose real name is Kim Taehyung posted about the CELINE event and that he was in Paris.

However, riots in Paris and in several cities in France are worrying. This is because there has been chaos that has endangered civil society since June 27, 2023.

Due to this riot, CELINE’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, announced the cancellation of their show which was originally scheduled for July 2, 2023. The reason is, CELINE chose to prioritize everyone’s safety in the midst of this chaos. Therefore, CELINE apologizes for canceling the event which disappointed the invited guests.
